About Me
I came to Jyotish through a lifelong study of philosophy, Sanskrit, and religious traditions. After completing an Honours degree in Philosophy, I earned a master’s degree in Sanskrit and a master’s degree in Religious Studies from the University of Chicago. I was pursuing a PhD when I chose to devote myself to Jyotish full time.
What sets my practice apart is my ability to read the ancient Sanskrit literature directly. My training in Sanskrit grammar allows me to engage with ancient astrology texts in their original language and bring that depth of study to each consultation. Rather than relying only on modern interpretations, I draw on the tradition’s primary sources while speaking to the questions and circumstances of the person in front of me.
